Health Visitors


A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Health Visitors can give advice on health to people of all ages.  They regularly visit families with young children. Baby Clinic have now moved from Kingswood Surgery to The Meeting Room at Oaktree School.  It is on every 1st,3rd & 5th Tuesday of the month.  For Further information please contact the Central South Health Visiting Office on 01793 466436.

Many other professionals work with us at the surgery.  They include a Clinical Psychologist and a McMillan Nurse. Your doctor will refer you to any of these if it is appropriate.
